Carpolobia lutea, also known as the “sweet chewing stick”, is a plant native to West Africa renowned for its potent aphrodisiac effects. Other names for it are “cattle stick” (English), “Ikpafum” (Ibibio), “Agba” or “Angalagala” (Igbo), and “Egbo Oshunshun” (Yoruba) in Nigeria.
